Unlawful Entry in Residential Building in Hadamar +++ Failed Attempt at Break-in in Local Hostel
In a series of unfortunate events, several burglaries have been reported across various towns in the Westhessen region over the past few days.
Last Saturday, 07.12.2024, unknown burglars targeted a residential building in Bad Camberg-Erbach, near the border ditch, between 12:00 and 19:20. The burglars gained access to the house by forcing open a terrace door, but despite searching several rooms, they did not find any loot.
In a separate incident, burglars targeted an apartment in Hadamar over the weekend, from Friday, 06.12.2024 to Sunday, 08.12.2024, between 12:15. Once again, the burglars were unsuccessful in their attempt, leaving the apartment untouched.
The Westhessen police are actively seeking suspects in connection with these incidents. Two 17-year-old youths were arrested after a theft attempt in Kelkheim-Münster, but other suspects remain at large. An unidentified person who stole a wallet from a BMW in Hofheim and unknown arson suspects in Baden-Baden are still being sought.
